Thursday's episode of Deal or No Deal started off fresh with a new contestant, Traci Wilkerson, a 1st grade teacher. Traci got off to a shaky start, eliminating both big amounts and small amounts through the first few rounds. Bank amounts started off small, but eventually got higher due to the 1 million dollar case still not revealed. As the game went on, Banker offers went up, but Traci's family convinced her to go on. Finally, an offer of $275,000 was offered by the Banker. The half a million dollar case and the million dollar case were still alive. After encouragement from Traci's school class, who was in the audience, Traci turned down the deal. In the next round, the $500,000 case was revealed. It still wasn't bad though. The offer only went down a little bit, at $267,000. At this time, Traci wasn't going to risk it. She pushed the button and the $267,000 was hers.
During Traci's appearance on the show, Howie told her family the amounts before her and even some her students, who reported the news to her. Howie was absolutely fanastic tonight, with many jokes through the show's course. Traci's lucky fared well, and she walked away with $267,000.
The show's second contestant of the night, Venus Bernardo, didn't fare so well. She started off eliminating many high amounts, including the half a million bucks as one of her first picks. All big amounts but the 3/4 of a million and the million were eliminated. Thursday's episode left as a cliffhanger with an offer from the Bank. Venus will return Friday night, the show's last night, for a chance at a million.
Random note:The position of the suitcase and the phone were back to their original state.
